Utah County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management Division will conduct a mass casualty exercise. 29+ government and private entities will participate Saturday , October 7, at Lehi Rodeo Grounds.
This Saturday morning, October 7, 2017, Utah County Emergency Management will be conducting a mass casualty exercise dubbed "Rockin' Roundup - Mass Casualty Exercise". The exercise will have over 100 volunteers acting as casualties. 29+ government and private entities, each involving many employees and volunteers, will participate in the response to what is sure to be a lively event! Planning for this mass casualty exercise has been underway for many months. The exercise will take place in Lehi, Utah at the Lehi Round-Up Rodeo Grounds located at 105 North 500 West. Kick-off time will be shortly after 9:00 AM and will be signaled by a pyrotechnic incident. Any members of the media interested in being at the exercise, and who might want to document the kick-off, should be there by 8:30 AM so I can position you to be able to see the start of the exercise.
