An Orem woman arrested a month ago on drug distribution charges has been arrested again tonight on similar charges and on child endangerment charges.
*** PRESS RELEASE *** August 22, 2018: On the evening of Wednesday, August 22, 2018, Agents with the Utah Department of Adult Probation and Parole made a home visit to a woman on probation they were supervising. Detectives with Provo and Utah County Sheriff's Office narcotics teams assisted AP&P Agents. During the visit 19 grams of methamphetamine were found. That amount is approximately 190 individual doses. During the visit Agents and Detectives found evidence that a child had been in the home and may have been exposed to drugs or drug paraphernalia. The suspect in this case is Sarah Lindsay Lewis, age 29, of Orem. She is being held in the Utah County Jail on the following charges: possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, 2nd degree felony; endangerment of a child, 3rd degree felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, class B misdemeanor. Lewis is also being held on an AP&P hold. Bail on the new charges has not yet been set. Lewis was arrested on similar drug charges about a month ago.
