FEMA has resources to help people understand and access the National Flood Insurance Program benefits. The State of Utah Floodplain Manager can also help facilitate this resource if needed.
*** PRESS RELEASE *** October 2, 2018: Many residents in Utah County are concerned about storms over the coming weeks and months after the damage caused in the nearby mountains and canyons from the Pole Creek and Bald Mountain Fires. FEMA has a website that explains how people can get flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) even if they don't currently have flood insurance.
