Deputies in Eagle Mountain are hoping someone has information about a dog that was killed in the owner's back yard on Sunday, November 11. Right now there is very little evidence to go on.
*** PRESS RELEASE *** November 13, 2018: On November 11, 2018, Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, Eagle Mountain Division, responded to a report from a woman who said she found her dog dead in her back yard. This incident occurred near Autumn Drive and Elkridge Drive in the North Ranches area of Eagle Mountain. The dog owner told Deputies this happened between 2:00 and 5:00 PM Sunday. Deputies determined the dog had been shot in a fenced back yard with other dogs also in that yard. The other dogs were not injured. There was at least one similar incident near this area earlier this year, but we do not know if the two incidents are related.
If anyone has information or security video footage related to this incident, please call the Eagle Mountain office at (801)789-6701 or Utah Valley Dispatch 801-794-3970 and reference case 18UC11887.
