*** PRESS RELEASE May 6, 2019 ***
On May 1, 2019, shortly before 6:00 PM, a Deputy with the Utah County Sheriff's Office responded to a report that a puppy valued at $1,200.00 was stolen from a business in Vineyard. A woman was in the Puppy Barn when she apparently picked up a Goldendoodle, walked toward the exit, paused for a moment, covered the dog, then walked out of the store. An employee at the store saw the dog just a few minutes before she noticed it missing and called the Sheriff's Office. A manager provided security video that showed a woman who appeared to be in her twenties, with blonde hair, holding the puppy as she walked toward the exit, paused for a moment, covered the dog, and walked out the door with the dog.
Anyone who recognizes this woman, or who might know where the dog is, is asked to call the Utah County Sheriff's Office at (801)794-3970.
For questions contact Sergeant Spencer Cannon, Public Information Officer, Utah County Sheriff's Office.
