*** PRESS RELEASE August 19, 2019 ***
The Utah County Sheriff's Office is offering a R.A.D. Women basic self defense course. Sheriff Mike Smith and the R.A.D. staff and instructors feel strongly about the value of this course to women and it is always, with the UCSO, offered free of charge to participants. Participants receive a Kubaton (Google this!), free of charge, upon completion of the course.
"TheRape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive . . . course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training,[including a dynamic simulated training experience.]"
