Andrea Allen

The County Recorder oversees the Recorder's Office, keeping the official records of the County, recording mortgages, deeds, and other documents involving property, and maintaining up-to-date maps showing current ownership of every section of land.


Professional Life

Andrea Allen has worked in various capacities during her tenure with Utah County over the last 41 years, most recently serving as the County Recorder since January 2021. She is currently the Chair of the Utah Association of County Recorders Standards Committee and the past Co-Chair for PRIA – Local Utah from 2022-2023. Prior to her service as the County Recorder, she served for 6 years as the Assistant County Recorder.

Andrea has been instrumental in projects such as the scanning and digitization of records, making such records available online, and leading forward with fraud protection technology. She is viewed by her peers across the state as a leader and innovator in the industry, as a trusted resource, and supportive advocate for property owner rights.

Andrea is looking forward to many more years of service to the citizens of Utah County as the Recorder, and remains uniquely qualified to serve in this capacity.

Personal Life

Born and raised in Utah County, Andrea and her family all call Spanish Fork City home. She and her husband Phil raised two daughters, and now their family includes 2 sons-in-law and 4 precious grandchildren. The family loves spending time together whether it's around the kitchen table sharing a meal, or out exploring recreation sites across the beautiful state of Utah.
