Weed Control Board

Section 4-17-4(4), UCA

The Weed Board members serve a 4 year term. They are responsible for education and finding new ways to control
noxious seed and enforce the state weed laws. The members are assigned to different areas of the county and work with
the people in their areas to address their concerns.

1. Chair of County legislative body shall appoint one (1) member of legislative body to serve as coordinator between County and Weed Board.

2. Two (2) members of Weed Board shall be farmers or ranchers whose primary source of income is from productive agriculture.

3. Can have 3-5 members.

4. 4 year terms.
