Commissioner Skyler Beltran's journey in public service began with his role as online editor for the Lehi Free Press, where he reported on local government to keep the community informed. He has served on the Utah County Planning Commission, the Utah County Board of Adjustments, and as Chairman of the Utah County Republican Party. Skyler's career also includes experience in big-box retail management, where he honed his skills in financial management, leadership, and operational efficiency. As a Utah County Commissioner, he is dedicated to serving his community and improving local governance.
Commissioner Skyler Beltran has been a proud resident of Utah County for nearly his entire adulthood. After moving to Provo to attend Utah Valley University, he and his wife, Kylie, eventually settled in Lehi, where they are happily raising their two sons, Madden and McCade. Skyler has been deeply involved in his community, dedicating his time and expertise to improving local governance and quality of life. Before joining the Utah County Commission, he was a passionate advocate for homeownership, helping families achieve the American Dream. He also served as the online editor for the Lehi Free Press, reporting on local government to keep the community informed and engaged. Skyler’s public service history includes roles on the Utah County Planning Commission, the Utah County Board of Adjustments and Chairman of the Utah County Republican Party. Additionally, his background in big-box retail management provided him with valuable experience in managing large budgets and teams, strengthening his skills in financial management, leadership, and operational efficiency. In his free time, Skyler enjoys watching sports, exploring new places and spending time with his family.
